Templates:
Using templates you can start a new game with a GUI and script already in place that makes your game different to the default. It can also make your game's interface like another's, like monkey island or beneath a steel sky. They both have their own unique interface which you can have in your game. Beware, a few of these are not in english (Not sure which).

AGI (doesn't work with AGS 2.7 and above, needs modifying)

JuncModule's AGI Template, based on Proskrito's SCUMM Template

(P) AGS Left and Right Click Open Source Template (ALARCOST)

This template has only two functions, look and interact. Look is right mouse button, interact is left. It also has a status bar at the top of the screen which shows the name of the object/hotspot/character.

(P) Beneath a steel sky

Inspired by (oh, well remade from actually) Beneath a Steel Sky, by Revolution. Does the same as the above except the status line follows the curser and the inventory is at the top of the screen.

Day of the Tentacle (doesn't work with AGS 2.7 and above, needs modifying)

A good SCUMM template from Proskrito.

(P) Enhanced Verbcoin Gui v1.0c

Verbcoin based on the one from monkey island 3. This one id made for a fan game called Revival of MI.

(P) Fate Of Atlantis

Another good SCUMM template from Proskrito. Modified by Disruption to work with newer versions.

(P) Fight engine

A simple fighting engine, you can punch, kick and duck.

(P) Gabriel Knight dialog interface

This is a dialog interface with faces on either side which animate when the the character talks.

(P) The Gabriel Knight Style Template

This is the template for making a Gabriel Knight style game. This includes the Interaction bar at the top of the screen, the inventory, controls panel, and the dialog system. Most of it needs replacing with images.

(P) Kings Quest 5

Like the default gui except better quality and more colorful. Only problem is that some parts are in german (I think).

Leisure Suit Larry 7 - Love for Sail (doesn't work with AGS 2.7 and above, needs modifying)

I don't know about this one, I get some errors.

(P) Standard Scumm GUI

The scumm gui. Not modeled on any one gui, instead it's more of a generic gui easy to modify.

(P) Standard Scumm GUI (Spanish)

As far as I can tell, this is the Standard Scumm GUI translated into spanish. Made by Disruption.

(P) Loom

Hears a Loom template from Spyros. What's loom? I think it's a Lucas arts adventure game, cant really remember what the interface was like. I think It has something to do with notes.

MI2 template (doesn't work with AGS 2.7 and above, needs modifying)

Another quality template from Proskrito, the name explains what it is.

(P) Monkey 1

A monkey island 1 template from LucasFan.

Monkey 2 (doesn't work with AGS 2.7 and above, needs modifying)

A monkey island 2 template from LucasFan.

(P) Monkey Island 3

Features the verb coin interface and treasure chest inventory from mi3.

(P) Noise Filter

Just a default template that adds a noise effect to your game.

(P) ODIS1.2 (Disc world)

This is the menu interface for discworld. If you need a dialog interface, check out the modules section.

(P) Platform Engine

This is a simple platform engine, you can run and jump on hotspots which are easy to add.

(P) Reality on the Norm

GUI used in the RON games. I think it's based on the default template.

SCI point and click (doesn't work with AGS 2.7 and above, needs modifying)

Just like a normal SCI interface with point and click added.

SIBIDIS - Scavenger's Icon Based Interactive Dialog System (doesn't work with AGS 2.7 and above, needs modifying)
 
(P) Simon the Sorcerer 2

A cool recreation of the menu interface in simon the sorcerer 2.

(P) Simpson's - (Joseph DiPerla)

This is an incredible template. It has a custom gui, a whole set of rooms containing most of springfield and around 10 characters from springfield all with walking animations (None of them has a talking animation).

This is one of the most annoying types of adventure games ever. To do anything you have to type in, walk to key, pick up key, use key on door, go trough door.
